Invasive Plant Overhaul

Cottage Garden Remodel

While we weren’t the best about taking before photos for this one, trust us when we say that this front garden was full of invasive plants like the dreaded barberry. The front garden included multiple pathways and two middle beds. This layout took up valuable parking space so we decided to combine and slim the middle beds to create a two-car driveway with an English cottage garden. We added a variety of colorful blooming plants to create a vibrant oasis to arrive home to. Some of the plants we utilized include: coreopsis, dianthus, allium, viburnum, blue star, American wisteria (native), blue false indigo, inkberry, winterberry, creeping phlox, hydrangea, catmint, a variety of repeat blooming roses, and more.
