Classic White Garden

Front Yard Redesign with White Blooms

This project is all about transforming an overgrown, neglected property into a beautiful, welcoming space that reflects the new homeowner’s love for a clean, classic look while bringing a touch of nature’s magic. After making amazing progress clearing the land, the client wanted guidance to make the most of the property, and together, we’re creating something special!

We chose a palette of stunning white-blooming, pollinator-friendly plants that keep things tidy and elegant while also supporting the environment. To ensure her gorgeous view of Cedar Lake is untouched, we incorporated charming boulders and low-growing plants that add character without blocking the scenery.

The design is also filled with personal touches—like a cozy fire pit where she and her family can enjoy nights of s’mores and laughter. There’s a patio just for her sons to hang out, and a top-tier patio for her to savor peaceful morning coffee moments.

Even though she loves the look of turf lawns, we added areas of clover lawn to reduce water usage and create a more eco-friendly landscape. The white-blooming plants we’ve chosen—like Azalea, Clethra alnifolia, Hydrangea arborescens, Penstemon, Physostegia, Iris, Salvia, Echinacea 'White Swan', Liatris 'Floristan White', and Allium 'Mount Everest'—will bring beauty and joy throughout the seasons. This dream space will come to life in spring 2025, and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together!
