Asphalt Remediation
A new homeowner discovered asphalt beneath their backyard gravel patio, right where they planned to start a vegetable garden. We took action and leveraged nature to solve a man-made problem. We removed the asphalt, laid down new soil and mulch, and utilized plants to restore the soil. This process, known as phytoremediation, involves using plants like alfalfa, sunflowers, and corn that excel at absorbing chemicals to cleanse contaminated soil. Although it will take approximately 3-5 years for the soil to be fully cleared, we're excited about the concept of using nature to heal nature and wanted to share this special project with you.
